E-governance is the application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to transform the efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and accountability of informational and transactional exchanges in between the government and citizens; to empower citizens through access and use of information. Introduction of Digital Governance is a way to ensure that common citizens have equal right to be a part of the decision-making process which affect them directly or indirectly, and influence them in a manner which best improves their conditions and the quality of lives.
